15 Minutes in the Morning: Garden Edition

Do you ever think that we try to do too much? For example, I have a hard time going out for a run that’s shorter than 30 minutes because it seems too short. As if somehow running 27 minutes doesn’t count but anything over 30 does. Of course this makes no sense, and running (or doing whatever) for even  five minutes is just that—doing something for five minutes, not zero.

I only had 15 minutes in the garden this morning. But that was still enough to plant a few sprouted potatoes that a friend had given me (I traded her about a pound of parsley, which is my main crop right now) and take a spin around the garden to see what’s going on.

We started getting spinach and arugula this week, and there will be plenty of lettuce next week.

Asparagus is done for the year. We started getting spinach and arugula this week, and there will be plenty of lettuce next week. And the garden is a bit messy, but it’s completely planted now.

So that’s 15 minutes of gardening and 15 minutes of blogging. Have a great weekend!
